Bethesda has released a new deep dive video for Starfield Shattered Space.
Bethesda Game Studios today invites players to take a deep dive into Shattered Space. Starfield’s first major story expansion features numerous mysteries surrounding House Va’ruun and a remote, hand-crafted new location to explore.
In Shattered Space, Starfield’s first major expansion, players will visit the homeworld of House Va’ruun for the first time, where they can explore a fully hand-crafted setting and uncover the mysteries surrounding the followers of the Great Serpent. House Va’ruun is on the brink of collapse, and its members are waiting for someone to guide them.
When the player character’s sudden appearance on their hidden home planet is viewed by some residents as divine intervention, the players take on the task of helping House Va’ruun get back on its feet and determining the fate of this mysterious faction.

Shattered Space will be released on September 30th for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Owners of the Premium or Constellation Edition of Starfield will receive Shattered Space as part of their original purchase. Base Edition owners can still purchase the Premium Upgrade to gain access to Shattered Space and other digital content such as the digital art book, original soundtrack, 1,000 Creation Credits, and the Constellation Skin Pack.
