Apex Legends reaches more than 100 million players worldwide and it has to be celebrated!
EA and Respawn Entertainment announce that the award-winning battle royale title Apex Legends has surpassed 100 million players worldwide. A big milestone after the game only celebrated its second birthday in February 2021. 100 million players are an endorsement of Respawn’s efforts to develop the game further with innovative content updates for the live service and for the exciting stories fans immerse themselves in season after season.
With a varied roster of 16 legends, three constantly changing maps, seasonal events and even bigger updates planned, Apex Legends continues to offer players a special competitive experience. In the next few days the team will be releasing new details about the franchise.
The game has already received a number of prizes, including BAFTA and The Game Awards making it the best multiplayer game of 2019 and winning the prize for the best international multiplayer game of the German Computer Game Award 2020.
