Released September 2019, Hunt: Showdown continues to expand. Crytek’s game puts players in the role of a bounty hunter whose party seeks to rid the world of the monsters that inhabit it. Today the publisher unveiled its big novelty with a new quest system.
New quests every week
The new system allows everyone to call up quests that offer different challenges, such as:
- Shoot specific enemies
- Kill Grunts
- Find the hiding places of certain bosses
For this, five levels of difficulty are proposed, from easy to legendary, each level offers more stars. These are accumulated up to a limit of 30 per week, giving a maximum reward of 25 blood ties. In-game items are also obtainable this way. New quests will be available every Monday.
In order to improve this system in the future, Crytek encourages players to give their opinions on the game’s official networks. As a bonus, quest ideas submitted with the hashtag #SuggestAQuest have a chance to be included in the adventure. You first go through a selection that is carried out by the team of Hunt: Showdown
The new quest system gives players more control over the in-game challenges they choose to complete and the chance to earn more rewards each day. Hunt is a community-driven game, and this exciting new system will be expanded and evolved as we evolve based on player feedback. We are also happy to give fans the opportunity to see their idea for a quest implemented in the game. The Hunt community is filled with creativity and we can’t wait to see what ideas players come up with!
Hunt: Showdown is available on the Microsoft Store from $39.99. The video for the new quest system can be found below:
