A few minutes ago, I told you about the event that took place this weekend with Leonardo Interactive, the Italian publisher has some interesting, modest projects, but which don’t look bad at all. The one who occupied the central table was Simon The Sorcerer Origins, the prequel to the adventure Point and click original released no less than 30 years ago.
During the event, two relevant things were confirmed to me. The first is that the game comes with texts in Spanish; and the second is that it would have a physical version and a digital version. I asked strictly for the Xbox physical version and the answer was yes. So you can expect a physical copy of the game. If you are a lover of this format, it might be a good idea to support it this way.
Simon The Sorcerer Origins is coming in 2024
I also asked a few additional questions like if there were any plans for Xbox Game Pass or if it would support Play Anywhere, either way they couldn’t answer my questions. Regarding the Game Pass, I would say that having a physical edition on the way does not seem like a near-term reality, and that’s good.
For now no date set, we don’t know until sometime next year. We have to wait for more news.
Simon’s rebellious life will be turned upside down by his unexpected arrival in the magical world, where he will trigger an absurd and ancient prophecy that will trigger a lot of trouble! During his adventure, the rebellious Simon will do something big, gaining moral redemption and proving that he is not just a disappointment to his parents.
The narrative and gameplay paths unfold in countless ways without forgetting the central elements of the saga: comedy and sarcasm. A strong link to these characteristics has been maintained in the dialogues, situations and animations. Simon often breaks the fourth wall by speaking directly to the players.
