Hi! We started last week slime breeder 2 (Game Preview) for Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10/11, as well as Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) and were overwhelmed by a record-breaking number of new games Ranchers joined Beatrix LeBeau and set out on the Path to a new slime ranching adventure on Rainbow Island.
Shortly after arriving on Rainbow Island, Beatrix discovers a mysterious conservatory stocked with everything she needs to begin her new slime farm adventure. This conservatory has several expansions that can be purchased to expand your plort production possibilities by allowing you to build more slime pens, gardens, chicken coops, silos and more.
But expanding your conservatory also means increasing your daily workload, and if, like me, your eyes are always on the horizon to explore the next location, you might want to consider more unconventional and creative ways to use your conservatory extensions. And that’s all perfectly fine, because slime breeder 2 allows you to play how you want, at any tempo.
So here are a few ways you can turn your Conservatory expansions into fully functional upgrades with little or no maintenance, allowing you to spend more time exploring the far reaches of Rainbow Island.
The Seaside Puddle Resort
You can turn the tidepools into an oceanfront puddle slime resort by using every available lot for ponds. Your Puddle Slimes require no maintenance and you can join their everlasting pool party whenever you decide to collect a large amount of valuable Puddle Plorts. Just make sure you build lots of palm tree decorating gadgets to really get the holiday spirit going.
The ultimate silo
Or take advantage of the high walls of the Gully and its wild chickens that you will always find there to create the ultimate food storage center. Just use as many plots for silos as you like and let all the chickens you like roam free. The gully’s naturally high walls keep it enclosed and you can visit whenever you like to deposit food for later and gather from the ever-growing chicken population at your feet. Just make sure you decorate it with slime statues to make the chickens feel like they live in a paradise where slimes exist but will never eat them.
The Zen Garden
The striking stone ruins and the overall structured look of the archway always make for an excellent Zen garden. So I like to plant a few fruit trees here as well as some decorative bonsai and then just come back to this beautiful and lush garden when I need additional produce. The gardens will grow undisturbed forever and if I miss a yield or two it doesn’t matter because you have to learn to let go.
But if you want to reverse the cycle of life instead, you can always install an incinerator and store your fire slimes there – to devour the ashes from your unwanted fruit. Their fiery glow even makes for a nice bonfire to sit around and enjoy a beautiful sunset between the large stone arches along the cliff.
garbage city
If zen gardens aren’t your thing, consider doing the complete opposite with Garbage Town. Use the natural darkness and walls of the Den Expansion to keep a hungry horde of Ringtail Slimes inside with no pens and no rules. Maybe plant a few gardens, then shoot any leftover chicken, fruit, or veg into the cave’s entrance whenever you have the time. Perhaps don’t even look at the chaos that will follow. And let’s face it, Ringtail Slimes want it that way.
Whether you want to maximize plort production and ensure every slime type is represented so you can dominate the plort market, or you prefer a more relaxed approach to allow ample time to find each treasure pod, which is in each secret angle is pointed, slime breeder 2 lets you play your way and rewards you for it. Rainbow Island is filled with possibilities, and many of them are beyond your imagination.
