Slime Rancher 2 is making a name for itself again thanks to a very recent Australian classification

Australian, Classification, Making, Rancher, slime

Studio Monomi Park has only had to congratulate itself on the success so far slime grower. This adventure and management game has allowed the team to quadruple its workforce since 2017 as more than 10 million players have been able to try it. More than enough to give the studio the funds to continue the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau in a sequel, however colorful and tacky, that has just been awarded a classification by the Australian Government.

First shown during Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase 2021, slime breeder 2 does not intend to change the recipe that earned its predecessor the praise of millions of people. Always at the head of a Slimes farm that you must capture and evolve, you will evolve in a completely new environment and the novelties will be numerous. As icing on the cake, the game was announced as a day-one gift on Xbox Game Pass. But since the reveal, it’s clear little information has been leaked while the release date was slated for 2022. Til today.

A few days away from Summer Game Fest and Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase 2022, surprise, slime breeder 2 has just passed Australian Government classification. No new information emerges from the page, except that the “darker slimes” (Goudrron in VF) will return to the majestic Rainbow Island as enemies.

Given the timing and partnerships, it’s more than likely that the new Monomi Park title will reveal itself in more detail and announce its (soon?) release date in the coming days. History to get back into the bath, do not hesitate to restart the first one slime grower (still available in Xbox Game Pass) or check out last year’s announcement video available directly below.
