This past December it landed on both Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, one of the Japanese company’s most anticipated crossovers that unites one of Japan’s most popular puzzles (Puyo Puyo) with what is arguably the most famous game in history, the mythical Tetris.
A month after entering the market, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 will today receive an important free update that arrives loaded with news, among which it is worth highlighting the arrival to this title of the most recognizable face of Sega, Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sonic and 3 other new characters are coming to Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 today
But the popular blue hedgehog isn’t the only new thing arriving today in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, since Sonic comes from the hands of three more new characters, Lidelle, Ms. Accord and Ocean Prince, all playable characters. Along with the arrival of these new characters, three new item cards will also be added that we can use.
With this update, in addition to add new skills and new characters, this will also add a lot of new icons, four new background songs including “Tropical Resort-Act 1 from the Sonic Games.” But probably the biggest novelty outside of the new characters, is the inclusion of the nuevo modo “Boss Battle with everyone”.
This new game mode that we will find available from today, will allow us to join 3 other players to collaborate in special battles with bosses where we will be able to obtain a large number of experience points and very powerful only available in this mode.
