The Sonic 30th Anniversary “Sonic Central” event was an opportunity for Sega to reveal the return of Sonic Sonic colors on living room consoles. The platform game was released and is coming in 2010 on Wii and Nintendo DS September 7, 2021 on Xbox One and Series X | S in an Ultimate Edition. This version is being developed by the Blind Squirrel Entertainment studio. The latter worked on in particular Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Borderlands GOTY Enhanced.
This new release offers 4K graphics, a performance of 60 fps and a revised gameplay. It also introduces new features like the power of Wisps. The latter allows Sonic to acquire new skills. For example, you can cross the countryside to discover secret paths. A new game mode is available as a bonus. Entitled Rival rushit gives you the opportunity to face Metal Sonic in a duel.
Finally, note that every pre-order comes with an adorable little Baby Sonic keychain. A deluxe version is offered and provides early access, exclusive music, and unique customizations for your Sonic.
