Microsoft is constantly adding improvements to its operating system. Although just a few hours ago we told you that Windows 11 is steadily gaining usage share on Steam, and it does not seem that the thing will go less. This is partly the “fault” of the good work of the gaming part, and of course Xbox has a lot to say about it.
Among all the gaming improvements that have been added to the operating system is the Game Bar on the controller. Basically, it allows pressing the guide button on the Xbox controller connected to Windows 11 to release a bar with widgets and shortcuts.
Cloud gaming from the Xbox controller
The fact is that we will soon have an additional improvement that will go directly to this bar. This is the ability to launch games in Cloud Gaming without having to go through anything else just a few button presses. By pressing the guide button, the game bar will allow us to run games in the cloud.
This feature is currently in testing in the Windows Insider Program. You can see how it behaves in the following attached tweet that I leave you in this post.
Windows Insiders now lets you launch cloud streaming games directly from the controller bar. Watch our webcast to learn more: https://t.co/W3IXbYGwif. Please submit your feedback in Feedback Hub (WIN+F) under Gaming > Xbox Game Bar. pic.twitter.com/DA0J7GLaLs

As the icing on the cake, those responsible for the program have ensured that there are more improvements designed for this bar, which will allow developers to let their imaginations run wild. Among the most outstanding novelties we find:
- Child safety features.
- Noise removal in group chats.
- Access to automatic HDR settings and hotkeys.
- Direct storage compatibility checker.
Now is the time to be patient and wait for all of this to happen.
