Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered details its bosses and new map and exploration elements in a trailer.
Through an interview, Matthew Ray, Associate Brand Director of Aspyr, shared more details about the final bosses and the new card system of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and 2 remastered which will arrive on consoles on December 10.
Concerning current events, each manager of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and 2 remastered is designed to challenge Raziel’s mastery of abilities. The development team focused on the character models to improve the textures as much as possible, while ensuring they blended cohesively into the apocalyptic world. Melchiah

Zephon was too desaturated, so his face was completely repainted.
Rahab
This battle takes place in a flooded abbey. Rahab He is completely immune to water, which is deadly to Raziel. Use Raziel’s agility to avoid Rahab’s deadly short- and long-range attacks by jumping, and use your new telekinetic projectile ability to exploit Rahab’s extreme vulnerability to sunlight. Rahab’s head has been reshaped, so that her eyes now have a reddish glow that gives her a menacing appearance. His fangs were also changed to appear more vampiric and his skin was made a little grayer.
Duma
In a desolate fortress, Duma awaits resuscitation. Like his other brothers, Dumah is invulnerable to any attack. Raziel must therefore use cunning and lure her into a flame powerful enough to melt even the hardest metal, while avoiding the terrible earthquakes caused by Dumah’s incredible strength. Dumah’s armor is now much dirtier. Plus, there’s mold and bloodstains everywhere (considering he’s been impaled for centuries).
Kain
Raziel faces for the first time Kain in the Pillars, where you need to be quick and hit Kain three times to get the Soul Reaper. The second encounter takes place in the Chronoplasm, where the multi-level arena makes escape even more difficult. Closely follow your target’s movements and strike them quickly with the Soul Reaper. Kain’s models in Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2 had to be completely redesigned to alleviate texture issues. With the increase in polygon counts, it became necessary to bring his appearance closer to that of the Kain seen in the original videos, which was much more detailed and more or less showed the character’s original intent. The original SR1 model was particularly limited, which is why both games now have a Kain with a consistent look between the two titles.
