For Fortnite, the Soundwave series continues with Tones and I. It starts on January 22nd.
October 2021 saw the first show in the Fortnite Soundwave series, a series of music shows featuring artists from around the world, and today Epic Games announces the next act in the series. Australian singer-songwriter Tones and I will be performing a non-stop concert in Fortnite starting January 22, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. 72 hours.
Kicking off the series with Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki, Tones and I will be performing songs from their forthcoming debut studio album, Welcome to the Madhouse, starting later this week. Each show in the Soundwave series is its own interactive experience for fans. This adventurous journey through the madhouse inspired by the album was implemented by the community creators Team Alliance and TheBoyDilly.
To join the show, which will repeat continuously for 72 hours starting Saturday, January 22 at 12:00 a.m. (until Tuesday, January 25 at 12:00 a.m.), fans simply need to click the Soundwave Series tile in-game: Tones And I” or enter the island code 5462-3620-7544. Everyone who attends the event will also receive the Soundwave Series – Tones and I spray as a souvenir. Additionally, starting Thursday, January 20th at 01:00 GMT, the “Cloudy Day” lobby music and the “Dance Monkey” emote, based on the record-breaking single “Dance Monkey” from EP The Kids Are Coming, will be available in the item shop .
More shows in the Soundwave series will follow in the coming months. Featuring Brazilian rapper Emicida, Japanese pop artist and producer Gen Hoshino, and record-breaking Malian-French singer Aya Nakamura.
