Purchasing Special Edition Oreo Cookies allows players to unlock in-game content for Xbox games such as Halo Infinite and Sea of Thieves.
Microsoft has partnered with the maker of Oreo cookies to launch special edition packaging in 22 countries.
In addition to the special packaging, the cookie design corresponds to the iconography of Xbox. The Xbox logo as well as the controller buttons A, B, X and Y and a directional arrow are embossed in the pastry.
But that’s not all.
A range of prizes can be unlocked by scanning Oreo Xbox Special Edition cookies and cracking exclusive cookie combinations. The latter is inspired by cheat codes from games.
For example, entering the symbols baked into the cookies on the website in the correct order will unlock in-game content for Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, and Halo Infinite.

Additionally, attendees can enter a prize draw for everything from custom-built Oreo hardware to Xbox consoles, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships and a vacation experience.
The Oreo cookies with special edition packaging will be available in stores from January. In Germany, the campaign runs from now until April 24, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
