A few weeks ago Dune: Spice Wars, a 4X developed by Shiro Games, a studio with a long history and creators of the famous Northgard, was launched in early access on Steam or, more recently: War Tales.
As a true fan of the saga and reader of the complete works of Frank Herbert, I can assure you that, for not being passionate about the genre, they managed to capture my attention with their pleasant gameplay, their faction system and others . to not forget community events which are made from the official Discord. Currently, it only has one game mode, which is being tweaked and expanded these days with new areas; and they are already preparing their next update.
This will be the content that will arrive in the first months of Dune: Spice Wars
In a recent tweet posted on the game’s official account, we learned about the studio’s near-term plans, starting with the launch of its multiplayer mode and the addition of a new faction during this summer. Moreover, in a survey conducted in its Discord, asked what is the highest priority for their players and are working on it to add it as soon as possible. Curiously, in the survey, the campaign mode is a winner.
We have a few busy months ahead of us for #DuneSpiceWarswith multiplayer, new factions and more planned to grace the harsh deserts of Arrakis in Early Access!
