If you remember, in December 2021 we were already telling you here that it had been confirmed, by Ubisoft itself, that a remake of the first Burst cell is in development.
Now through a job offerwe know that Ubisoft wants to update the story of the original game for a more modern audienceand “let’s keep the spirit alive as we explore our characters and our world to make them more authentic and believable”.
Basically, the remake of Burst cell will be a graphics and gameplay update from the original, with changes in history to adapt it to a more modern audience. Although we don’t know if these changes will be significant or not.
What we know for sure is that we still have a long way to go to enjoy the game, because development is in its early stages. We will see what the future of the franchise holds for us, after so many years without a new delivery.
