Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda issues New Year’s open letter showing interest in emerging NFT market
Square Enix started the year 2022 with a open letter of its president, Yosuke Matsuda, showing interest in the inclusion of DFTs, the technology blockchain and the metaverse in the video game industry. The Japanese developer and publisher joins other industry greats such as Ubisoft the SHE by supporting this new business model.
The CEO of Square Enix praises and recognizes the media importance that this new technology has had throughout the year 2021. Coming to recognize this last course as “the year of the metaverse”, hoping that in this new year it will develop within the industry.
