This summer, E3 returns in a brand new, completely paperless format. Developers and publishers have a few weeks to announce their participation. The event will take place from June 12th. Square Enix, which was not originally on the list a few weeks ago, finally confirmed its presence through the voice of its president.
Indeed, in response to a question from the Nikkei media, Yosuke Matsuda spoke about what was going on in 2021 on the site of the famous Japanese publisher:
We’ll announce the rest of our cast [plus tard]and we’re also planning an announcement at E3 in June so please stay tuned.
The company thus joins Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive and Warner Bros. Games and Koch Media among the participants. Square Enix recently released its new digital event format, entitled Square Enix presents and has already announced a new show this summer
