We have crazy news for you: Squirrel With A Gun is now available to play on your favorite green-themed console! To get you started, we’ll give you a little insight into this wild squirrel adventure.
As the title suggests: yes, you play as a squirrel, and yes, you’re pretty hot. With an arsenal of weapons (including a rocket launcher) and an action-packed city sandbox, you’ll take on the sneaky but well-dressed agents, help curious citizens (or not), take part in quests, and race cars, boats, and of course collect the sweet acorns.
While you’ll definitely be shooting (a lot!), there’s a lot more to do in Squirrel With A Gun. Let me walk you through some of the crazy activities you will encounter.
A birthday present
The city isn’t just full of agents trying to hunt you down; It is also home to ordinary citizens going about their daily business. Watch them closely. You might feel that some of them could use some help. Take for example this sad person sitting all alone in the park. Judging by the birthday hat on his head, it looks like today is his special day, but no one came to celebrate with him. If you can sniff out a birthday cake and bring it back to him, you’ll not only brighten his day, but you’ll also get a sweet treat for yourself! So it can be beneficial to lend a helping paw. If you don’t feel like helping the citizens, just let your mischievous side shine and go crazy! Who are we to tell you how to play this game?
Squirrels vs football team
Fancy a run? Then head to the local soccer field! It’s time to see if a little squirrel like you can outmaneuver an entire, bloated fellow football team. Sure, they have the numbers and muscle, but you have speed, agility and, well, fur! Jump around, jump sky high, use your inner flow and avoid getting caught. If you manage to score, prepare yourself for an unparalleled “goal celebration” where a special reward falls from the sky… And let’s just say it has a little explosive kick to it!
House parties and pole dancing
While the outdoor antics are a lot of fun, don’t forget to take a look at the houses. Most of the doors are locked, but if you manage to sneak in (or break in), you’ll find even more opportunities to wreak havoc. There seems to be a wild neighborhood party going on in one house in particular. There are people dancing, having a great time and there’s a party pole in the middle of the room! You know what to do, squirrel! Get in there and show off your moves and maybe you’ll be showered in a shower of acorns. Who knew squirrels could put on a show like this, right?! PS: Blowing up doors can also be a good way to get into locked areas, just so you know.
Haunted house for the Halloween season
Every Halloween-loving squirrel out there should keep an eye out for the Haunted House, a mysterious location hidden somewhere in the neighborhood. To take part, you’ll have to put your intelligence to the test (hmmm, the pumpkins nearby certainly don’t look out of place). Once you manage to crack the code and enter, be prepared for horrors no squirrel could imagine. What you’ll find seems harmless… or is it? One thing is for sure: this place is definitely haunted and contains a truly valuable treasure. Yes, we are talking about real golden acorns here! Search for clues, solve puzzles and get two exclusive outfits along the way. One of them could even turn you into a ghost. Creepy!
I hope you enjoyed getting to know Squirrel With a Gun and I hope these three locations bring as much fun and rowdy moments as we did. So get out there, you funky little squirrel! There is so much more to discover and puzzles to solve in our (not so peaceful) neighborhood. We can’t wait for you to get in and literally go crazy.
