The developers of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl need more time and have postponed the game once again. The new official release date is now September 5, 2024.
The reason for the postponement was, among other things, the numerous and honest feedback from the players. This was partly positive, but also negative and the developers really want to put a complete game on the shelves, but the team still needs a little more time for this.
“Dear stalkers, last year, during Gamescom 2023, we finally had the opportunity to meet in person. We have gathered with you around the campfire to share something valuable that we have been developing for you over the years – a small part of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. For the first time ever in public.”
“Our one-off initiative then turned into a journey from campfire to campfire in France, Brazil, Singapore and other countries. Thousands of players were able to play the game themselves and then give us much-needed feedback.”
