The first major collaboration for Overwatch 2 brings extras based on the popular anime One-Punch Man to the game.
Collectible goodies based on the popular anime One-Punch Man are now available in Overwatch 2. This collection represents the first major collaboration for the Overwatch universe and sets the stage for future crossover concepts.
Mike Ybarra, President of Blizzard Entertainment, stated, “As huge fans of anime and One-Punch Man, we are excited to bring this new collaboration to our gamers around the world. The Overwatch universe is an optimistic vision of Earth in the near future, so why not have Doomfist costume as Saitama?”
One-Punch Man tells the story of Saitama, a lovable superhero who can knock out any opponent with just one punch and is terribly bored with the lack of serious challengers.
The pack of extras includes four cosplay hero skins based on characters from the anime: Saitama – Doomfist, Genos – Genji, Tatsumaki – Kiriko and the unlockable skin Mumen Rider – Soldier: 76, which can be obtained for free by completing in-game challenges.
The collection of One-Punch Man extras will be available through the in-game shop until April 6th. The anime series One-Punch Man can be found on various streaming platforms.
