Undead Laboratories actively working on State of Decay 3but not done yet State of Decay 2which will continue to receive content updates throughout 2022.
The most recent update brought several changes, the most striking being graphical revisions to the three original maps: Maegher Valley, Drucker County and Cascade Hills. This includes environmental improvements, draw distances, terrain, foliage, lighting, and more.
Another addition is the introduction of a FoV slider. Additionally, fences, windows, posts, and more can now be destroyed by heavy weapons. Various quality of life improvements have also been made.
State of Decay 2 Is available in XboxOne, Xbox series X/S and computerwhile State of Decay 3 is in development for Xbox series X/S and computer.

The arid landscape of Drucker County now it has red rocks, dusty skies and a drier climate.
Meagher Valley received new distant sights, new terrain colors, and foliage updates.

Heavy weapons destroy fences
Any fence that can be destroyed by a vehicle can now also be destroyed by a heavy melee weapon, as can windows, posts, and a few other props.
Field of view (FOV)
Go to Settings > Video > Field of View to adjust it. It can be set between 40 and 100 degrees, with 70 being the default.
