Dying Light 2: Stay Human The latest work that the people of Techland brought to our consoles on February 4 of this year 2022 brings us new information regarding its expansions. As you may recall, the first installment in the Dying Light saga had a very long run, receiving both expansions and small DLCs until shortly before the release of the second installment. With Dying Light 2, a similar case will occur. From Techland they announced that this sequel will have support for the next 5 years.

Through an interview on VGC247lead game designer Tymon Smetkala detailed where the story of the first two expansions would take place. These will take place in Villedor and in nearby areas. As you progress through the story of these expansions, will expand into completely new areasbut still on the outskirts of town.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human

For the moment, we have a roadmap that tells us how the game is going. The first expansion should go out in September of this year. Always, in the the next years we will receive paid content extensions. This new content will take place in places other than the city. Following these remarks, Tymon Smetkala joked that one of the extensions could take place in space through the following statements:

Don’t expect (the expansion) to take you into space or anything. It might happen in year 3 or 4. Our PR guy is looking at me funny because in other interviews I’ve said something hypothetical about Dying Light 3but the headlines were ‘Dying Light 3 confirmed’, so I’m not confirming that we’ll be taking players into space or taking players into Atlantis.

Statements by Tymon Smetkala to VGC247

Are you expecting expansions for this game soon? What do you think of these statements? Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch via the cloud this year.
