Steam Deck will allow the user to upgrade or expand their SSD

Deck, expand, SSD, Steam, upgrade, user

Traditionally, most of the bombings in the video game world have taken place at the various shows that take place in the summer, such as E3 or Gamescom. Valve decided now is the right time to break this tradition, and unexpectedly, they announced Steam Deck, their new console / laptop.

Over the last week or so, we’ve been giving you a lot of detail about it, and the truth is, given how well his reserves have worked, it makes sense to think he’s going to have a good launch. Thanks to Reset we know a new detail about its storage, which seems expandable (or upgradeable) thanks to an additional SSD slot.

Steam Deck will hit the market in December this year

As you probably know, Steam Deck will come to the market with 3 different models, the main difference of which is its storage. While the base model has a 64 GB eMMC, the other two models have an internal 256 GB and 512 GB NVMe SSD respectively. It looks like IAll 3 models will also have an additional M.2 2230 SSD slot, something quite interesting especially for the most basic model.

It should be added that this type of memory is quite expensive, and that it is probably better economically speaking to get the model with more capacity, but it is appreciated that the company gives us this option for the future. If you want to be up to date with all the latest Steam Deck and Xbox news, I recommend that you keep an eye on our website and all of our social media.
