Tesla’s new Model S and Model X vehicles lack Steam support.
As Electrek reports, all those who sometimes use their Tesla’s display to play games will have to do without this feature in the future. At least when you buy a new Model S or Model X. Steam compatibility is no longer applicable.
According to a recent message, Tesla is currently updating the Model X’s gaming computer. This means that support for Steam is no longer available. However, all other entertainment and app functionalities should not be affected.
There are currently no details available, but vehicles that have already been delivered do not appear to be affected by this update.
