Steelrising reveals part of its history

History, part, reveals, Steelrising

Presented exclusively at IGN Expo, NACON Yes Spiders were able to share a new video presenting the uchronic context of Steel rise. In 1789, in a Alternative bets, with iconic places and monuments adapted by the developers of Spiders, the French Revolution is at a standstill. The popular revolt was strongly repressed by an army of automatons, deployed by order of the King. 1789 is the year of the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the fall of the monarchy. Steel rise represents an alternate version of the story: what if King Louis XVI, who loved watchmaking, had built an army of robots capable of suppressing the insurgency? Powerful and cruel, this army does not forgive anyone and violently punishes the rebels. Paris is burning and bleeding. Men, women and children are systematically massacred.

In this terrifying chaos you embody Aegis, exceptional automaton and bodyguard of Marie-Antoinette. Appointed by the Queen, Aegis will have to navigate a Paris full of machines. Every fight with these mechanical enemies is a challenge where the player’s skills are put to the test. This is the price to pay for those who want to change the course of history.

Steelrising will be available on consoles and PC in 2022. Follow us on Xbox Area to learn more about this new dystopian adventure of NACON and Spiders. Below you can enjoy the new trailer of Steel rise, in which NACON shows us a preview of its new adventure in the midst of the Parisian revolution.

I have traveled to worlds you would never believe, ended up with enemies that escape all mysticism. I felt my pulse quicken with each battle, and the sigh of who knows he will have to get up. There is always a villain waiting, an adventure just around the corner. That’s why I never stopped living, because I keep playing.
