Stolen empire is a game partially inspired by the fantastic work of Larian Studios Divinity: Original Sin So play while we finish Stolen empire It’s been fantastic to see over the last few months Baldur’s Gate 3 explode and show that there is a huge appetite for games like ours. If you are one of those Xbox fans looking for a new game to improve that Baldur’s Gate 3 It’s itchy, we hope Stolen empire will do that for you. However, we also want to tell you about our game’s unique twists that help speed up combat, give you fun decisions, and make it perfect for co-op.
Stolen empire has a synchronous rotation system. This means that all players on your team can take their turn at the same time, including their opponents. With this system, our game offers the same type of tactical combat you would expect from such Baldur’s Gate 3 And Divinity: Primordial Sun, but with combat encounters that happen much faster. This means that when playing co-op with your friends, you don’t have to wait your turn while your buddy thinks about his next move. You’ll be on the next step of your adventure in no time, so you can spend less time waiting and more time having friendly discussions about whether you should engage in another combat encounter, special event, or treasure as you make your way through our adventure Play different fantasy environments.
Speaking of co-op, we’ve developed a truly flexible six-player drop-in/drop-out system that makes it easy to watch your friends play on Xbox Live, play a few rounds, and then leave. The game automatically balances itself according to the number of players. So the game simply adjusts the experience to ensure you encounter the right level of challenge depending on the number of players playing together at any given time. In our opinion, smooth multiplayer is something Xbox has always been good at Stolen empire fits in there perfectly!
We tried to implement our approach to combat throughout the game. We designed Stolen empire being an RPG that focuses on the best part of an RPG: making decisions. No matter what move you’ll make next in battle, what skill you’ll learn next, what you should do when a demon offers you a deal at one of our D&D-style special events to change attributes, or whether you need to change your armor and weapons based on what you looted in your last encounter. We’ve opened up these choices with a highly flexible class system that allows you to take skills from any class tree you want (there are over 300 skills in the game), allowing you to create some truly creative builds. There are also over 700 unique items to discover, each of which can be customized with modifiers. These include the epically named ones Abbadon, the Soulbreaker, a mace that raises slain enemies as skeletal warriors to fight for you, and The Bloodletter, a cursed sword that grants additional power at the cost of your lifeblood, to give you a small taste of what you can discover! Basically, there are lots of fun ways your decisions can affect your character and your adventure Stolen empire ensures that you make these fun decisions as often as possible.
When it comes to choosing, we’ve also put together a few modes for you to choose from! Stolen empire features a full campaign (with six difficulty levels), a hardcore mode for those who want to tackle permadeath, and even a roguelike mode. In Roguelike mode, you level up after each battle and can choose from a range of random skills and items, making each run unique. Even if you fail, each run helps permanently unlock new characters and passive abilities for future runs.
Myself and the team would like to take the time to thank you for reading about our game, and our amazing community for the feedback that helped us along the way Stolen empire a better game (and made us keep talking bears as a feature), as well as streamers like Sacriel, Shroud, Anthony_Kongphan, Strippin, Sequisha, Fairlight_Excalibur and many others that we can’t mention because that would make this list too long in praise sing about the game and raise the profile of a small team’s debut game.
