“Hi, my name is Doctor Glenn Pierce and I’m pleased to tell you about this transcendent on Xbox Series X…”
If he could. If he could… Instead, you’ll have to settle for me, Christopher Floyd, producer and designer transcendent. But I’m just like Dr. pierce Also excited to tell you about it transcendent on Xbox Series X. What a coincidence!
It’s a beautiful day. Finally, having melted our brains into a non-Euclidean soup and sifted through the engine, transcendent will soon be playable on Xbox Series X in 4k at 60fps. If all goes according to plan, you could melt your own brain on November 21st, just in time for a tryptophan-induced fugue state! Or “Thanksgiving” as some like to call it.
For those of you who are not yet used to the special magic of transcendentis a mind-bending first-person puzzler where you find your way by solving fantastic puzzles with the ambiguity of depth and perspective and hopefully escaping a surreal dream world. People who write even more coherently than I have said this:
“An enigmatic master class with heart and mind.”
- Eurogamer – Recommended
“Perhaps the most innovative first-person puzzle game yet portal.”
“A new mechanic that I’ve never seen in a game before.”
High praise, I’m sure you will agree. New features now!
Since its initial release on Xbox, transcendent now features full developer commentary and challenge modes. Meet the team behind the game, learn how we pulled off such visual design tricks, and then prove your mastery of the puzzles by solving them within fiendishly tight limits – all in-game. My favorite is the bouncy castle.
With a total of 150 million views on YouTube, transcendent is a game that has to be seen to be believed. And then there has to be play, which makes you wonder if you really believe anything at all.
transcendent will be available on November 21st for $19.99 and will go on sale on November 22nd! The 4k upgrade is free for existing owners of the game!

If you fall asleep at 3 a.m., close your eyes to the cheesy Dr. Pierce’s dream therapy program. You wake up in an unfamiliar environment only to realize you are stuck in a dream – a dream where perception is reality. Welcome to Superliminal. Superliminal is a first-person puzzle game inspired by perspective and optical illusions. Players solve impossible puzzles by thinking outside the box and learning to expect the unexpected. This game offers a wonderfully muted world, an intriguingly voiced narrative, and things that are downright odd.
