Serious Sam 2 turns 25 and the developers of Croteam have decided to celebrate this anniversary by surprising fans with a nice update of the game on its PC version.
The addition enhances the original experience by adding a wide variety of features and improvements of different calibers, a word never better used to describe a Serious Sam game.
Serious Sam 2 is still young
One of the most attractive changes is the arrival of the BeamGun, a new weapon built into the arsenal and designed based on the Ghost Buster that appeared in the sketches of the original delivery of the title. On another side, a dozen maps have been added for multiplayer Among which stand out Stadium, Hole and Yodeller.
Even the interface has received substantial changes such as the incorporation of a radar that shows NPCs, enemies, and even objectives. Sam, in addition, can now run, shoot two weapons and even do a motorized jump, not bad for a character who doesn’t seem to have gone through the aging process after 15 years.
Details of the update can be found in Steam, where you’ll also find the game at a discounted price until March 26 as part of the IP 20th anniversary celebrations.
If the Serious Sam saga is one of your favorite FPS, don’t forget the compilation that Croteam released a short time ago. You have action there for months and at the time we had the pleasure of analyzing it.
