We’ve been hearing about the classic remake for a long time System shock. The 1995 original was a 3D shooter with a strong role-playing component. Night dive studios He’s been working on the remake for a while and it looks like we can finally see the light of day after this long development..

Everything that can be seen from this sci-fi shooter is promising. The trailer, which shows around seven minutes of playtime, shows a lot of exploration, combat, hacking, different types of enemies, a multitude of weapons, and more. The atmosphere is very dark with a certain vintage touch of neon and far from being a shooter. Loss, shows long moments of exploration and puzzles. It also looks like bullets won’t be a plentiful good and we’ll have to control that aspect if we don’t want to go through some trouble.

The remake of System shock is in progress for Xbox one, but information on possible next-gen versions is still unknown. The game which launched on Kickstarter in 2016 has been delayed although it looks like this summer could be the definitive launch, as a demo was even released last January.

From the Xbox zone, we’re hoping this title will see the light of day soon, as it looks like it will bring some fresh air with that strategy and role-playing component to the already abundant 3D shooter genre.
