Redout 2 didn’t get nearly all the hype it deserved. A delivery that reminds us of classic games like WipeOut or F-Zero went unnoticed when it launched in June 2022. Now, and almost 8 months later, it receives its first update and a great paid DLC that encourages us to come back to try this great racing title.
A paid DLC will arrive in the game at the price of $9 with many additions that expand the gaming experience. In addition, we will have a free update that adds a new Training game mode, where we can run unlimited of laps on our favorite tracks. All this is grouped under the name of the Winter Package.
Redout 2, new content to return to video games
The DLC takes us to Mercury, where we will have new tracks in glaciers and arid canyons produced by a hostile planet. In this one we find 4 new tracks based on Terror Rupes for customization; this includes three secondary races and one main with all the seasonings to be a favorite.
Included, in addition, we will have 28 career events that include challenges and objectives for each track. And in the cosmetic section, 29 new elements that make up, colors, ships and a new music playlist called Dance With The Dead.
The Redout League’s most recent acquisition, Mercury’s dramatic temperature swings, required first-rate engineering and extensive use of new, cutting-edge materials. Although the planet is clearly uninhabitable for the human species, teams of researchers and surveyors have discovered mysterious ruins and artifacts at Mercury’s south pole, with no organic evidence to identify who built them and why; a perfect feature for a new racing venue! In multiplayer lobbies, only the host needs to have the Winter Pack DLC for the new tracks to be available to everyone!
