Tango Gameworks was sold to Krafton, but two important IPs are missing – The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Recently, KRAFTON took over the reins at Tango Gameworks, giving KRAFTON the popular Hi-Fi Rush IP. However, the acquisition did not give KRAFTON every IP, as it turns out.
KRAFTON confirmed to MP1st that Hi-Fi Rush is indeed the only IP developed by the studio that it now owns. The rights to both The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo remain with Microsoft, under whose thumb the Japanese studio was most recently.
While it remains unclear whether anything will develop from Ghostwire: Tokyo and The Evil Within, it is certain that neither KRAFTON nor Tango Gameworks will be responsible for possible future developments.
