EA SPORTS releases the Team of the Year in EA SPORTS FC 24.
EA SPORTS today introduces the EA SPORTS FC Team of the Year (TOTY). In addition to the men’s TOTY, the best female players will also be honored in their own TOTY XI for the first time. The men’s and women’s attackers will be available in EA SPORTS FC 24 starting January 19th, followed by the midfielders (starting January 21st) and the defenders and goalkeepers (starting January 23rd).
With Lena Oberdorf from VfL Wolfsburg and Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer 04 Leverkusen, the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga and the Bundesliga are also represented in the respective Teams of the Year this year.
The Women’s Team of the Year:
Goal: Mary Earps (England) – Manchester United
Defense: Ona Batlle (Europe), Wendie Renard (France) – Olympique Lyonnais, Millie Bright (England) – Chelsea, Sakina Karchaoui (France) – Paris Saint-Germain
Midfield: Alexia Putellas (Europe) – FC Barcelona, Lena Oberdorf (Germany) – VfL Wolfsburg, Aitana Bonmatí (Europe) – FC Barcelona

The Men’s Team of the Year:

“It’s an honor to be part of the Team of the Year alongside some incredible players,” said Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. “Winning an award voted for by the fans means a lot to me. I am very grateful to everyone who voted, thank you very much!”
“It’s incredible to be recognized by the fans and to be among the best players in the world,” says two-time Ballon d’Or Féminin winner Alexia Putellas. “Being part of the first women’s team of the year is a great honor that I am very proud of.”
The most voted players of the campaign were Alexia Putellas, who appeared in 84% of all women’s teams submitted, and Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham, who had a starting role in 74% of all men’s teams. Rounding out the top three were Kylian Mbappé (66%) and Virgil Van Djik (66%) for men, and Aitana Bonmatí (77%) and Caroline Graham Hansen (66%) for women.
“A big thank you to the fans who voted me into this year’s Team of the Year,” said Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham. “I know that many incredible players have been part of the Team of the Year in recent years and it is always an honor to be part of this list.”

The Men’s TOTY is available now on EA SPORTS FC Online and also on EA SPORTS FC Mobile starting January 25th (Thursday, February 1st in China, Korea and Japan).
