One of the Sony console exclusives will arrive on our computers at the end of March on the Steam and Eipc Games Store platforms, and for this, Guerrilla Games and Nixxes Software, the studio responsible for bringing the port of Horizon Forbidden West to PC, Just as they did with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart last year, today they shared the technical specifications that we will need to enjoy this title on this platform.
The two studios worked together to optimize the game, including a wide variety of graphics settings ranging from very low to very high, the latter being quite demanding. For those who wish to experiment with these graphic options, we inform you that you will be able to find within the title menu different graphic and visual options among which we will find, for example, the adjustment of the quality of textures, the level of detail, shadows, water, among a large number of other visual variables.
Technical specifications
Regardless of the graphics setting you choose to enjoy the title, we will need, at a minimum, 16 GB of RAM, an SSD and 150 GB of free space on our disk. If we stop to look at the minimum specifications that we will need to run it at 30FPS and a resolution of 720p, we will have to opt for an I3-8100 processor or a Ryzen 3 1300x, accompanied by a GTX 1650 or RX 5500XT graphics card.
In addition to the shared graphics options, this PC version of Horizon Forbidden West will also include additional content, such as the expansion “The Burning Shores”, released in April 2023 on the Sony console and in which it will take us to a new region. …in your world, with new stories, enemies and missions.
