PC or console, it will follow you everywhere!

The first thing to know about this headset is that it’s wireless, PC and console compatible, and extremely comfortable to wear. It will cost you $199.90 but you get what you pay for. Indeed, with its slim design, it is perfectly suited for all heads. You can easily change the position of the headphones from “small head” to “big head” by simply detaching the headphones from the headband and changing their position. Here, RIG doesn’t bother to put lights everywhere, the helmet is sober, black, without LEDs.

With its 290g this helmet is very light, we would almost forget it. This cordless model comes with a charging station! This serves two purposes. On the one hand you can take off your helmet to “stow” it, but also to recharge it. On the other hand, it can serve as a connection point to your equipment. For example, you can connect the dock to your Xbox and enjoy the sound through your headphones. But you can also place the station somewhere else and use the USB stick included in the packaging to use your headphones “wherever you want”. At least it is enough that your hardware has a USB port.

Finally, the charging dock isn’t the only way to charge your headphones. In fact, you can plug it directly into your device to charge it while you use it. However, you hardly need to charge it! The autonomy of the helmet is very interesting. It took 24 hours to run out of battery after a full charge!

Audio quality enhanced by Dolby Atmos

The sound quality of the headset is fabulous. As a bonus, it’s enhanced by the Dolby Atmos software available on PC and Xbox. We can say that the RIG 800 PRO HX is a high-end helmet. I had a lot of fun discovering it surveillance 2 with the latter on your ears, and enough to tell you that I’ve heard everything and everyone! I was also able to locate any threat in it Call of Duty Warzone.

On the microphone side, I didn’t have any complaints from friends like “You have a bad microphone” or “We can’t hear you badly”. Everything is perfectly audible and even small annoying noises like a spoon in a coffee cup cannot be heard. In addition, you can deactivate the latter simply by lifting it.

Finally, on the left side of the helmet, you have easy access to two dials. One allows you to change the sound of your friend group and the game with a single gesture, while the other wheel is simply used to adjust the overall volume of the helmet.

Conclusion

In short, if you have the budget for a helmet, this is clearly ideal. The sound is nice, the microphone is sufficient and it adapts very easily to PC and Xbox. As a bonus, you get the Dolby Atmos license for free! What more ?
