To forestall disaster, the next Battlefield is rumored to have the biggest playtest in the series.
After Battlefield V (2018) and Battlefield 2042 (2021), DICE and Electronic Arts have a lot to make up for among fans of the game series.
For Battlefield 6, or whatever the next part may be, a test program is planned for spring 2025, as was announced in September.
As Insider Gaming now reports, they are apparently very interested in getting player feedback this time. According to sources, playtesting with external players will take place much more frequently than has been the case in the past. The results from the tests and player feedback are said to represent the franchise’s largest collected data.
The player comes first, which is why they also plan to bring back the Battlefield community test environment.
How and to what extent is not yet clear.
