The specifications for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 have already been defined and many channels are already working on their own development kits. So far many of the opportunities offered by both machines are explained and what developers will have in their hands to get the most out of both systems.
As you already know the average image per second and the solution are the signals that the next generation wants to differentiate, 60 frames and 4K resolution want to be the standard for new comfort, something that will depend a bit on each station and resources you can invest. He recently mentioned this in the media WCCFTech
Importance of frameworks in Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
We are obviously very happy to switch to institutions with faster SSD memory (compared to modern driving machines). With open world video games, this step saves valuable development time.
I think most developers will give players the choice between Solving or Framerate settings. Hopefully 60fps will be the next line, but the optimization required to achieve this is not easy, especially for those working in small development studios.
Judging by what happened in the launch phase of this generation, there may not be a surprising jump in terms of quality and graphics in the first games that hit the nex-tgen systems, developers won't want to leave much of the base for current generation users, unless they get some kind of financial incentive from console to compensate for the potential loss of sales by leaving behind the use of a generation, but hopefully games with better placement, higher frame rate and more stability, better light, faster loads, larger maps, more detailed scenes and things of this nature. It will be in these areas where we will see the most improvement in current systems.
An exciting statement detailing the progress we will see in the new generation but that will be less noticeable in the early stages and will increase in months.
