Ahoy, adventurer! The Naheulbeuk dungeon is back!
We had the great pleasure of launching a few months ago The Naheulbeuk Dungeon: The Amulet of Chaos on Xbox One and today we are here to renew that pleasure. Our epic parody of table-top RPGs is now available on Xbox Series X | S for all new-gen enthusiasts out there! And thanks to Smart Delivery, the upgrade to the new generation is completely free if you already have the game on Xbox One!
And that’s not the only good thing we have to proclaim here: Splat Jaypak’s arenas, the game’s new DLC, is now available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S!
It’s an independent chapter that’s completely separate from the main game’s adventure. In this new game mode, the ten playable adventurers are captured by the vicious Splat Jaypak, a half-goblin who has created many terrible memories for those who have already played the game. Determined to entertain themselves by making our less skilled heroes suffer, the mischievous schemer has them locked in his arenas, a brutal place from which they cannot escape – unless they manage to defeat all of his monsters and in each of the 15 new and challenging battles that await them in the pit!
However, a game show isn’t fun if the challengers don’t stand a chance. To make this spectacle interesting, the adventurers have a lot to offer.
In the locker room you can choose which adventurers you want to have on your team. Although – just like in the base game – you are limited to eight active adventurers at the same time, you alone decide who is in and who is out! In the original adventure, you had the main team of seven adventurers and you could choose one of the priestess, paladin and minstrel as your eighth. Here you can choose all three if your heart desires – as long as you leave other adventurers on the bench.
You can change the composition of your team between each fight; What’s more, even the adventurers you left behind in the locker room will get XP for winning a battle so you will never be penalized for switching fighter!
Everyone knows that adventurers fight for two reasons: XP and loot. While the XP side works normally, the only loot you get in Splat Jaypak’s Arenas is a pile of gold coins that grows bigger with each victory.
As your adventurers get stronger, they get richer too: the shopping area is here to ensure all that gold for a purpose. Being rich is cool, but being covered in legendary armor is even cooler! Between each of your bouts, you’ll have the option to go shopping, spend your hard-earned gold to upgrade your fighters’ equipment and give them a better chance to cut and dice, crush and burn and … next enemy .
The Naheulbeuk Dungeon: The Amulet of Chaos and Splat Jaypak’s arenas are ready for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S! The question is – are? she Ready for you, brave adventurer? It’s time to prove yourself!
