Epic Games has been slow to deliver some of the most requested features by users. They slipped their competition for 4 years and almost the only differentiator they were able to offer are free games every week. Beyond that, it lacks a lot of options that the Steam player will hardly let go, since he is already used to having them.
As incredible as it may seem, until last December there was no “Add to Cart” button. This means that it took them almost 4 years to implement something as basic as this. Fortunately, little by little these options that we miss are coming, and today we can say that one of them is already active.
How to Add Games to Game Collections on the Epic Games Store
This is the ability to create collections of games within our library. This feature now allows us to create up to 11 folders to store and segment games, it also allows the option to add games to a favorites list
This makes sense, given that the Epic Store catalog is growing at a faster rate. The process of editing your collections is quite simple:
- Hover over the game you want.
- Tap the heart icon in the upper right corner.
- Now click on ‘add to collection’.
- You can choose an existing collection or a new one.
The rollout is starting gradually, it may take some time for this feature to appear. If you’ve already activated it, tell us about your experience in the comments. Remember that you have the new free games active and you will need an account in the Epic Games Store to claim them, here is a tutorial.
