DreamStorm Studios has announced the release of Narru: The Forgotten Lands on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC. The studio shouldn’t inspire you much. In fact, he is best known for augmented/virtual reality productions. This makes it one of the first titles outside of this category that the studio is offering.
This is a puzzle game where you play as a ball of light roaming the once inhabited island with the help of a mysterious civilization. It will be necessary to explore this world full of ruins that hide the memories of this people. The orb has the power to bring corrupted earth back to life. The title is also co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture. It’s very colorful with a real focus on storytelling. Aware that gender is well represented, Michael Laszowski responsible for the project, commented on the news:
There are many puzzle games out there, but we want Narru to be more than just a relaxing puzzle game. We want it to be an experience that lets you disconnect from everyday worries with its deep storytelling and immersive world painting system. This is a game that will help calm your mind. With Narru, we wanted to explore the idea of bringing life into the world rather than destroying it.
At the moment the game has no release window. Watch the trailer to get your idea:
