In the midst of a hopeful hiring campaign for Gears 6, new speculations are circulating about the possible existence of the long-awaited Gear collection, supposedly in development at The Coalition studios. We already told you about it a few weeks ago and the rumor is getting more and more intense and it could end up becoming a reality.
Renowned insider Middleagegameguy shared some intriguing details while appearing on Riskit4theBiskit’s Xbox Infinity podcast on YouTube. This insider, also a co-host of the Xbox News Cast podcast, revealed that The Coalition has begun internal testing for Gears Collection.
Gears Collection is already in the testing phase
Construction of the game is now complete and testers are currently immersed in identifying and fixing potential bugs and flaws before its official release. Note that the collection has not been officially announced, its existence is therefore not yet confirmed. Despite the sporadic questioning of the rumors that have been circulating for at least two years, the name Gears Collection continues to resonate strongly.
The Coalition is simultaneously working on its new IP, possibly based on Unreal Engine 5, although its identity is being kept secret. Although it has been speculated that it might release before Gears 6, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
