The Inquisitor will take us to an alternative world where religion has done a lot of damage to humanity… Can we save the souls of its inhabitants?
The influence of religion on people is something we have seen for centuries, regardless of the individual’s background. And while this topic continues to be hotly debated today, in Europe it reached its peak (and darkest) with the arrival of the Holy Inquisition. Based on this army of the Church and placed in the novels by Jacek Piekara
In this parallel world, Jesus Christ himself on his cross unleashes all his fury and he swears revenge on all those who did not believe his words or his actions. This still exalts the Inquisition, which plays a very important role in humanity. They will be the judges, the juries and the executioners of these infidels who are blind in the eyes of God. We will control Mordimer Madderin, one of those religious soldiers who must solve crimes and cases that sully the faith they themselves promulgate.
I did not come to bring peace, but a sword
With some basics of action-RPG, we will have to multitask to find solutions to each problem. We should make moral decisions that affect citizens, being able to be kind and apply a strong hand against those we consider ungodly. Morality will always be in a balance that we can change ourselves, even if the decisions will never be easy. Besides the fights and the search for clues, we will have a special ability that will take us to visit the Underworld.
The Inquisitor will be available on Next February 8 in physical format on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 thanks to the distribution in our territory of Southern Games. We will have a Deluxe version which, in addition to offering the game itself, will be accompanied by very interesting extras such as the original soundtrack, a digital collection and a Grand Master outfit for our protagonist.
