Developer Respawn Entertainment has identified a single line of code as the source of graphics and audio bugs that plagued gamers Apex Legends in the 16th season of the game. Players experienced issues with weapon sounds not matching or disappearing, inappropriate particle effects, and even grenades not dealing damage.

The development team explained through Reddit that the bug was related to how the game handled graphics and player timing in a match. He the server could only show 128 effects in a single game image. This meant that if this number was exceeded, the additional effects would be ignored and never heard. Respawn released an update to fix the issue last Thursday and has been monitoring the situation closely ever since.

For now, it looks like the studio has fixed the issue, which should ensure a smoother gaming experience for players. Apex Legends in the future.
