Next month comes The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, a Daedalic Entertainment production based on the Tolkien character who sparked love and hate from his appearance in The Hobbit to his death in The Lord of the Rings. The game has already achieved "gold" status and has shown a final trailer in which it also invites fans to pre-purchase.
In addition to the standard edition, the so-called Precious Edition will be available which includes several extras on top of the base game. Among them is The Lore Compendium DLC which provides information on the history of Middle-earth and other details about Tolkien's work. The art exhibit, meanwhile, includes 100 original sketches and several secrets from the development of the title.

Another exclusive content for fans is the Sindarin VO DLC which includes elvish voice acting, which would replace the language the game is in with the language created by Tolkien. While not everyone's cup of tea, I think many die-hard fans of Lord of the Rings literature will be eager to get their hands on this content.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4 and PS5 on May 25.
