Daedalic Entertainment has announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will finally see the light. It will be released on September 1 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. After the many delays that made us predict the worst, the launch of the title is finally finalized.
The game takes place during the early chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring. LThe story centers on the disgraced hobbit, Gollum, who seeks to reclaim his coveted One Ring.
It will take you through many places, ranging from Bard-dûr and Mirkwood to Mordor itself. Since Gollum is a weak and fearful character, he must rely on stealth and agility to survive, not strength.
An interesting aspect of the game is the ability to make decisions that can tip the character’s personality towards their hobbit side of life. Smeagol or the treacherous personality of Gollum. The former tends to be more empathetic, while the latter is violent and cruel, as well as cryptic. Which side ultimately takes over the character’s mind will depend entirely on our actions.
