The Marvel’s Avengers Cosmic Cube Event is here

The future is in danger. The Avengers must work together to defeat the scientist Supreme before she can cause an apocalypse. The new Beating the Odds Rogue Sector and Cosmic Threat Event are now available!

Around the globe there are traces of cosmic energy that lead the Avengers to Monica’s secret weapon – tracking down these cosmic signatures is the beginning of Beating the Odds. You follow the path to a heavily guarded AIM facility and fight your way to the last chamber, in which there is a huge, mysterious and undoubtedly powerful cube. This is the Cosmic Cube, the true form of Project Omega, and Monica can’t wait to show you just how powerful it is in the final battle of the villain sector.

This is a brand new fight like we’ve never created before. While the future is always uncertain to some extent, our Cosmic Cube developer tips from chief designer Jason Botta can help you prepare confidently to beat the odds! Here are some pointers on how to emerge victorious from the chaos:

• The Divide and Conquer strategy will be your ally for this battle. You will quickly find that many things are happening at the same time in the Cosmic Cube room that can lead to a chaotic confrontation and defeat if you are not ready. Focus on taking out the turrets first as they will be painful if you leave them hanging around
• The first group of elite opponents will fight back quite a bit. Focus on one of the screened enemies one at a time – lure them away from the rest of the group to take them down one at a time before they can defeat you.
• Finally, in the Power Core room, it can come in handy to quickly split up your team and destroy the cores before the barrage of enemy fighters overwhelms them.

In addition, the showdown takes place in a colorful, unstable and captivatingly picturesque arena the likes of which have never been seen before Marvel’s Avengers. Digital photographers, make sure you bring your cameras and take some pictures while you are there!

Beating the Odds is now available on the War Table in the Snowy Tundra and can be played with any hero with Power Level 35+.

The rewards for the intro chain of missions include a Hero Set Equipment, a DNA Key, three Polychorons and a piece of equipment the quality of which is adapted to your power level. Weekly rewards for the mission chain provide equipment, 15 polychors, a DNA key and a piece of equipment that is scaled to your power level, depending on your power level. Repeated completions (mission chains already completed) bring you a piece of equipment, the quality of which is scaled to your power level

The Cosmic Threat Event will be coordinated with the villain sector and will end on July 8th. As the name of the event suggests, you will be permeated by cosmic energy that has no insignificant effect. The Cosmic Threat Event takes you around the world in various new missions.

Rewards for smaller missions (eight in total, one themed per hero) require the use of certain hero skills or the achievement of general goals. Completing these missions will reward the themed hero with equipment of scaling quality if that hero has less than PL 120. If this hero has PL 120+, you will be rewarded with a Tachyon Exotic.

The Great Mission – A Cosmic Threat You have to defeat the new villain sector, defeat a large number of enemies in cosmic threat sectors, and do a lot of cute cosmic damage. Rewards include a new animated team nameplate and hero-specific gear.
