The popular The Mercenaries mode will also be playable in Resident Evil Village. You can watch a new gameplay video here.
While PlayStation players can already play the new 60-minute demo, Xbox and PC players will have to wait until May 1, 2021. In the meantime, IGN will provide you with new gameplay material for the popular The Mercenaries mode.
In The Mercenaries mode, you have to fight off hordes of enemies in different areas. The goal is to collect as many points as possible to get to the next area. If you do a kill, you gain time and points.
While the starting areas are relatively easy to master, you will have to think through your tactics later. In between you will also pass the shop and buy ammunition, weapons, upgrades and consumables there. During the game you also have the chance to get skills like running faster.

Resident Evil Village will be available on May 7, 2021 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia.
