The first season of The Cuphead Show! appeared on the Netflix platform just two weeks ago. The series obviously celebrates great success and will therefore get a sequel. As a matter of fact, The streaming service announced this Thursday that Season 2 is in preparation. The official French Twitter account indicates a release for next summer:

The first season, which arrives February 18, has twelve episodes of fourteen minutes each. Taken by Cuphead, released in 2017 on Xbox One and PC, the series features characters of animals or objects with human behavior. The two protagonists are the brothers Cuphead and Mugman, the first being very impulsive and the second much more easily influenced. Both the game and its adaptation also pay homage to the animated shorts of the 1930s.
Finally, the series benefits from a full French dubbing with many famous voice actors. We find there in particular Christophe Lemoine and Philippe Peythieu, the respective interpreters of Cartman (South Park) and Homer Simpson.
At this point we don’t know the number of episodes of the new season. Of course, Netflix won’t fail to share new information… “soon”!
