It’s been almost six years since BioWare and EA officially confirmed that the next Dragon Age was in development. To this day, we still haven’t seen anything from the match. However, leaks have claimed that the new installment of the fantasy role-playing game will be released this year. EA had previously indicated that its presentation was planned for this summer. This is why it is believed that one of the upcoming events could serve as a setting for the official presentation of the game.
Journalist Jeff Grubb confirms all this. Speaking on a recent episode of A little funny gamescastGrubb said the next Dragon Age game will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase this June 10.. Something he later reiterated on Twitter. However, according to Grubb, while Dragon Age 4 will be there, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will not.
This confuses us all, but Journalist Jason Schreier clarified in ResetEra that Grubb was referring to the rumor that the game would be presented under a new name. The Dreadwolf subtitle is from 2022 and the game may have evolved a lot, enough to be renamed.
The Xbox Games Showcase is scheduled for June 10 at 7 p.m. in Europe. We’ll be watching to see what he has in store for this and other titles.
