One of the first names on the 2023 calendar is One Piece Odyssey. The new title from Bandai Namco arrives next week on consoles and PC and the wait is long. The developer knows this and that’s why it will launch a demo a few days before it hits the market.
It’ll be a small appetizer of about two hours of what’s to come on January 13, which the company shared more data about today.
One Piece Odyssey demo will be located at the start of the game
The game’s producer, Katsuaki Tsuzuki, described what we can expect from this demo, where they prepared a short preview lasting about two hours. These correspond to the early hours of One Piece Odyssey where Bandai Namco hopes to show all gamers that this is not a typical JRPG. So we will see how Luffy’s crew lands on a mysterious new island called Waford, signifying the starting point of this new adventure.
In addition, they announced that if we play the demo we can save our progress and continue our game from the same point and progress. That is to say, our trailer will carry over to the full game. Finally, everyone who tries the demo will receive a special item, Golden Jelly.
