In recent weeks the Playtonic studio has been linked to an increase in allegations that a new Banjo Kazooie is being built. There have long been rumors that although Microsoft intended to take over the studio, something they themselves did not directly deny, but denied that they were working on a new game in the series.
The creators of Jooka Laylee are clearly (again) and don't want to leave any room for doubt by confirming on social media that they are not using Xbox's new Banjo Kazooie.
Playtonic does not work in Banjo Kazooie
Research has already stated many times in the past that it does not apply to anything related to Microsoft and after recent rumors and speculation they emphasized that it was impossible.

There are currently no indications that Microsoft is actually considering returning the saga, so we can only wait if the American company decides to bring it back in the future.
