The Sims 4 announces High School Years Expansion Pack. The official trailer and more details can be found here.
Electronic Arts and Maxis today announced The Sims 4 High School Years Expansion Pack, giving players the ability to carve their own path through teenage years.
The high school years are a time of self-discovery, and in the expansion pack, players can achieve their high school dreams by living the teenage life to the fullest, exploring their own personality, attending high school, and pushing their limits through choices and personal growth test.
The official trailer can be seen here:
“The Sims 4 High School takes players on a journey of personal growth to tell stories of teenage self-discovery and drama,” said George Pigula, Lead Producer of The Sims 4 High School. “The Sims learn how to balance school and extracurricular activities, form friendships for life, and experience momentous moments like prom. With the new Trendi app, they can even develop their own fashion likes and dislikes with clothes designed by Depop sellers. High school is an incredibly formative time, and we wanted to give players the chance to create and customize their very own high school experiences before their Sims grow into young adults.”
The ability to tell stories of any kind is at the heart of The Sims. The Sims has a rich history of allowing people to explore and express different versions of themselves through experimentation with the Sims they create, the stories they tell, and the worlds they create.
In High School, players can create their own enriching experiences in the new world of Copperdale, both at school and after school and on weekends. Teenage Sims learn and grow, express their personalities and shape their lives on the rollercoaster ride of puberty.
As part of the High School Expansion Pack, The Sims has partnered with teen and young adult fashion marketplace app Depop to find unique items.
Fashion has always been an important form of self-expression in The Sims, and the collaboration brings even more looks to the game for teens to create their own trend-setting style. Sims can buy clothing items designed by Depop vendors like Jeremy Salazar, Sha’an D’Antes, Lapoze McTribouy, Selena Williams, and Bella McFadden at Thrift Store and TeeTreff, celebrate their looks, and sell outfits through the new trendi- Earn App Simoleons and become a Simfluencer yourself.
In addition to attending classes and extracurricular activities at Copperdale High School, Sims can have unforgettable dates at Plumbite Pier or sip bubble tea while browsing through clothes at TeeTreff. In addition, players can customize their Sims’ prom – from the prom to choosing the perfect prom outfit to styling for the big event – and party all night with their friends.
The Sims 4 High School Years Expansion Pack is coming July 28th for PC and Mac via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
